In line with its development, the Groupe Barba is looking for a factory/industrial site director (M/F) as part of the creation of a permanent position. Reporting to General Management and member of the management committee, you manage the industrial site independently while ensuring quality, safety, customer satisfaction and profitability.

As a conductor, you are capable of leading, uniting, getting teams and departments to collaborate but also helping them improve their skills.

Industrial strategy and budget

Participate in the development of an Industrial Master Plan and establish the site's annual industrial budget (determine the KPIs);
Enforce manufacturing requirements, standards, guidelines, objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the factory and consequently the factory budget, including overall equipment performance, unit costs, waste management, maintenance, energy, quality and health, safety and environment by maximizing plant performance at the lowest costs;
Ensure the achievement of the factory's production objectives by guaranteeing product availability in relation to the required quantity, quality, costs, time and customer requirements;
Supervise, increase and control the achievement of targeted results
Continually maximize site performance and minimize costs, through efficient organization of personnel, logistics and production lines.
Ensure the implementation of best practices in order to optimize the production process through collaboration with all functional areas related to manufacturing (quality, purchasing, supply chain, etc.).

Quality, Environment, Health and Food Safety and Food Defense

Guarantee and apply the health, environment, safety, quality, food safety and Food Defense policy as well as the standards within the site
Ensuring that all operational processes allow us to meet the quality requirements of our certifications but also allow us to respect and control regulations in terms of health, food defense, safety and environment
Be responsible for the Food Defense policy on your site and provide the Food Defense team with the means to carry out the approach undertaken

Production

Monitor production line planning in close collaboration with the Production Manager and his deputy in order to optimize production
Guarantee the efficient use of equipment as well as optimal management of production personnel while respecting quality assurance and food defense standards
Ensure that the schedule is respected, that deviations are discussed and that production problems are resolved, in close collaboration with the Production Director
Work closely with the Production Manager on performance and production issues

Technical/technological innovation

Identify opportunities for technical, technological and process innovation
and transform opportunities into investment proposals in close collaboration with General Management, the Production Director and the accounting department

Supervise and lead your teams

Anticipate and plan the necessary labor resources in the medium and long term
Lead and manage the relationship with site members on a daily basis: meetings, evaluation interviews, etc.
Ensure the proper functioning of your team, mobilize and unite the involvement of your staff in achieving the company’s objectives
Participate in recruitment and organize, in collaboration with the HR manager, the reception of new employees as well as their integration and training, particularly on critical QSE risks
Guarantee a positive working climate and ensure the proper implementation of action plans aimed at improving the quality of life at work on its site
